It's the story of a Chinese young man reborn in America in the early 90's. He makes kung fu movies one of the mainstays of Hollywood; he makes it possible for the Oscars to be awarded to a Chinese man an unprecedented three times in a row; and he even manages to exude a glow in his cameo appearances at sporting events that would make all those superstars jealous. But his life is a mess, can't sort out whether it is with the American actresses or with the sexy daughter of the family relationship ambiguous, and even there are people found that he actually and Hong Kong actress relationship is not clear!
